Endowment Fund and
Memorials
In
providing valued hospital and clinical services as a County
based not-for-profit facility, Brown County Hospital encourages
and is highly appreciative of charitable donations and
contributions in support of it’s efforts. Various operational
and service areas routinely are established with priority in
needing financial support that may or may not be able to be
accommodated within routine budget parameters and limits. These
commonly include clinical equipment needs, when replacement or
upgrade may be necessary, various furnishing needs, and
scholarship funding for nursing or other clinical personnel
needs for the future.
When
these needs arise, it is important that various avenues of
supports are open and available for charitable contributions or
donations to be received. Brown County Hospital is pleased to
maintain an Endowment Fund to receive such support. Expenditures
from this fund are very specifically evaluated and approved via
full review and support of our Administration and Board of
Directors to assure that monies invested are appropriate and
necessary for our hospital’s future. Financial contributions
to this fund, memorial donations, or any other inquiry related
to this opportunity can be made directly to the Administrator of
Brown County Hospital.
The
Brown County Foundation also exists as a charitable entity of
the County and is in a position to receive such financial
support as well. Within the organizational structure of the
Foundation, charitable donations, memorial funds, or other
contributions can be designated with personal support directed
to the efforts of Brown County Hospital.
The
Hospital greatly appreciates the opportunity to serve the
residents of Brown County and the surrounding area. Any occasion
of charitable financial support will continue to be greatly
appreciated through either of the opportunities described above,
and will certainly be recognized and acknowledged in a most
sincere and appropriate manner.
The Thrift shop provides a service to the community by providing a convenient place to donate items, and where the people in the community can purchase needed items at bargain prices.
All proceeds from the Thrift Shop are used to buy equipment for the Brown County Hospital.
By
March 2006 donations totaling over $338,000.00 have been made to Brown County Hospital.
