of Nursing :
Tamara Brown, RN, Director of Nursing, is
in charge of the many Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical
Nurses and Certified Nurse Aides, who comprise our wonderful
nursing staff. Their
caring attitude, knowledge and compassion are the mainstay of
our facility. They
work every day to help you enjoy your own good life.
They treat you like family!!
Tammy Brown assumed her position as
Director of Nursing on January 1, 2007.

grew up on Lake Preston, SD.

college at Huron University, graduating with an Associates
Degree in Nursing. Tammy
has 3 children, Jackie, Eric and Chase, and two step-children,
Dillon and Blake. She
enjoys family time, boating, camping and fishing.

- Our
Board of Directors :
Brown County Hospital is led by a five member Board of
Directors. The Directors, who come from diverse backgrounds,
represent the county area and are responsible for the
continued success of our institution. Each Board member
serves a 6 year rotating term and new members are elected at
the end of the term in December, by the Brown County
Commissioners. The terms are staggered so that experienced
directors are always available with their knowledge.
Mike
Kreycik-Chairman
Mike Kreycik was elected Chairman of the Brown County Hospital
Board Jan,2005. Mike has lived in the Ainsworth Community for
the past 20 years. He is a long time employee of
Commercial National Bank of Ainsworth, where he currently
holds the position of an office and director of the bank.

Mike has served on various boards in the community and is
looking forward to the challenges and opportunities of serving
on the Brown County Hospital Board.

Leanne Maxwell
Leanne Maxwell was appointed to the Board in January of 2007.
EDUCATION:
Clarkson College of Nursing – Nursing Diploma; Clarkson
College of Nursing – Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing.
Leanne moved to Ainsworth in 1991. She
has been employed as a Registered Nurse since 1985, working as
a staff nurse and as a Director of Nursing, both in the acute
care and long-term care settings.
Currently, she is employed by the ESU #17 and serves as
the school nurse for Ainsworth Community Schools.
Leanne is married and has two children.

Judy
Densberger - Secretary
Judy Densberger has been a member since 2001, when she was
elected to fill a vacancy. She was reappointed to a six year
term in Jan.2005.
Education: University of Nebraska-Lincoln,
NE.-Bachelor of Science Degree
Judy moved to Ainsworth in 1975 and has spent 25 years as a
volunteer on the Brown County Rescue squad as an Emergency
Medical Technician and teaching CPR classes. She also served
10 years on the Ainsworth School Board. She is currently
an agent for Farm Bureau Insurance at Ainsworth.
Hobbies: Gardening
Judy is married and has two grown children and two little
grandsons.

John
Gross
John was elected to the board Jan 1,2005
John Gross was born at the Brown County Hospital.
Education: University of Nebraska-Curtis, NE
John worked in the oil fields in the Western part of the
United States. Since 1984, he has operated the family owned
Gross Seed Company. John purchased the family business from
his mother in 1986. Gross Seed Company has served the local
farmers and ranchers since the mid 1960's.
In the 1990's Gross Seed Company began environmental
contracting. Currently serving the Sandhills, with retail and
agricultural seeds, as well as environmental contracting.
John is married and has 4 children. His wife Peggy works at
the Brown County Court House in the Assessor's office.
Children Sheena and husband Chad Luebbe of Lincoln, NE.,
Sheena is currently an LPN and studying to become an RN at
Bryan LGH in Lincoln, NE. Chad is employed at Lincoln Electric
Service. Kelsei attends Ainsworth High School, Keanna and
Taylor attend Ainsworth Middle School.
John's grandmother, Ruby Jackson, was one of the original RN's
at the old Brown County Hospital on North Main Street.

Marla
Ritter
Marla Ritter moved to Ainsworth in March 2005. Previously, she
lived in Kearney, where she was clinic manager for Heartland
Hematology and Oncology. From 1986 to 1993, she worked for
Cozad Medical Clinic as office manager. In 1994, she became
clinic manager for the newly formed Cozad Community Medical
Clinic, which was purchased by the local hospital.
During her years as clinic manager, she attended many
seminars relating to current issues in the medical management
field and in 1998 received her certification.
Marla currently works as business office manager for
Rolling Stone Feed Yard, LLC in Ainsworth. She is anxious to
serve her community on the Brown County Hospital Board and
hopes her past experiences can be an asset to making important
decisions.
