accident, balance or walking problems, generalized or specific
weakness, work injury, urinary incontinence, or joint problems
are all indications for physical therapy. We also do
complete lower extremity biomechanical evaluations and custom
orthotic fittings.
Physical therapy can be scheduled by calling the Brown County

Our department consists of Shannon Sorensen, PT, DPT,
Manager, Bill Barnes, PT, MS, Lisa Pinney, PTA, and Hazel Chase,
PT aide. Hazel will be available to schedule your appointment
or arrange a pre-visit phone consultation with a therapist. She
is knowledgeable about daily activities in the physical therapy
department and will be able to answer scheduling questions.
On your initial visit to physical therapy, you will be
evaluated by either Shannon or Bill Barnes, licensed physical
therapists. Your evaluation will be specially tailored for your
particular problem and any other physical concerns that you may
have. A program based on your evaluation will be formulated in
consultation with your physician. A home program and clinical
visits will be scheduled to meet your needs in the quickest,
most efficient manner.
Our Hours are: M-W-F 7:30 am - 6 pm and T-R 8 am to 5 pm
Physical Therapy is covered by Medicare, Medicaid, essentially
all private insurance, and worker’s compensation.
Why not function at your optimum level? If
you have a problem, contact your therapist.
The Physical Therapy department recently celebrated National
Physical Therapy month (October) by having Mayer Russ Moody sign
a proclamation declaring October as National Physical Therapy
