RESPIRATORY THERAPY

A registered respiratory therapist is on staff at Brown County Hospital.  Respiratory care services are available twenty-four hours a day with assistance from the nursing staff.  Respiratory care services span all age groups from newborns to geriatrics.  The Respiratory Therapist administers or oversees all respiratory services.

Basic services include:
Oxygen Administration
Nebulizer Treatment
Metered Dose Inhalers
Pediatric Mist Tents

Specialized Services Include
Adult Ventilators
Pulmonary Function Testing
Patient Consult/Evaluations
Patient Education

Other services also offered include:
EKG Holter Monitors
Treadmill Stress Testing

Mary Bejot is the respiratory therapist.  Mary is a certified and registered therapist, who is also BLS and ACLS certified.

ULTRASOUND  (Sonography)

Ultrasound tests are available Monday thru Friday during regular business hours by physician order only.  Emergency ultrasounds are performed as needed

Abdominal
Pelvic
Breast
Thyroid
Obstretical

Mary Bejot is the sonographer.  All testing is scheduled through Mary by calling 402-387-2800 ext. 164
